MoM Entrepreneur and Blogger
I started writing about my passions, my thoughts, and curious wonderings about our world. I founded OhSh MoM with a mission to give others a taste of what goes on in my mind, and I have been at it ever since.
A mom of 3 crazy boys, a wife to my amazing husband an entrepreneur and passionate marketer.
I wanted to start OhSh MoM 2 years ago, while trying to find my passion and as most ideas my biggest fear was taking the leap to actually do it.
Then one day my husband came home with a quote that has stuck with me since "Whats stopping you?". When i actually sat down and thought about it i couldn't find a valid enough answer, yes i had the fear of "what if no one reads my blog, what if i'm wasting my time and.... wait! I actually don't know what i'm doing!
As an entrepreneur i know that if you don't try you will never know, there are endless resources available on the web now days to navigate and guide you on practically every and any thing you want to know.
Then came the birth of OhSh MoM, with 3 small boys and as a working mom i constantly found myself sitting at 9pm in the kitchen with my last coffee saying OH SH*T!! tomorrow is baker day or super hero day and nothing fits the kids! I started thinking about how many working moms are in my situation, we strive to be the best moms we can be and all want to be the Super mom in our kids eyes, I cant fail them!
How do moms that work do it? is there a super calendar i don't know about or am i just a bad mom?
So i faked it!! I stayed up till 2am in the morning and invented the coolest bakers day treats i could, i pulled out two old shirts from the boys cupboard, tore apart one of my husbands work safety vests and created the coolest lumo FBI shirts i could. When the kids woke up they were beaming with excitement, while my eyes were burning from lack of sleep I drank about 6 coffees that day, and had to do the even routine all over again.
But I faked it, I faked perfection and i made it.
